PROJECT
Resource & Healing Advocacy
YEPP continually supports its participants with necessary resources pertaining to housing, employment, education, clothing, physical health, medical services, legal services, obtaining vital records, and other basic needs. We also work with youth participants to strategize and provide healing-based resources to support their mental and spiritual health. We aim to address the many and various needs of youth experiencing homelessness as much as we are able.
This service is mainly for active participants within the Healing Performance Program and Leadership Program. However, during our Community Drop-In Arts Program we provide some low threshold resource advocacy support such as, but not limited to:
-
State Id Vouchers
-
Completing Food Stamps Application
-
Legal Referrals
-
Support in Resume and Cover Letter Building
If you are a young person ages 18-30 in need of resource and healing advocacy, or a youth worker that would like to refer a person to us, you can access/redirect them to our Community Drop-In Arts Program (see link above for operational hours).
