Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

We are always looking for volunteers and interns that can support the different parts of our organization: artistic development, fundraising efforts, administrative work, media development, among many others.  If you are interested to consider a volunteer or internship position, you can email us at with your resume and cover letter. Here are some ways to volunteer at YEPP:

BECOME A TEACHING ARTIST - The Arts Program at YEPP is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ youth to access a creative space that fosters community and self-confidence through various artistic practices. Teaching Artists commit to hosting weekly workshops that are free and open to youth ages 18-29. Volunteer to run a workshop! Click here for more information.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT - With YEPP being a small organization, we are always in need of extra hands to support operations. If you have the skills and capacity to dedicate time towards supporting us administratively, please reach out. Some tasks may be completed either onsite or offsite.

ADULT ALLY MENTORSHIP - In order for the work that YEPP does to have a lasting impact in the lives of YEPP participants, we need support from our community to ensure that they are getting the amount of consistent care and support that they need.

EVENT SUPPORT - Support YEPP with miscellaneous needs and tasks prior, during, and after special events and performances!

OTHER PRO-BONO SERVICES - Again, YEPP’s work would not be possible or effective without the abundant support of community members who offer their wealth of skills and resources to the work.

Family Dinners

Family Dinner is a way for YEPP staff and members to build relationships with community members and organizations who would like to know more about YEPP and the young people we work with. The person or group of people that would like to be a part of this opportunity will provide a hot meal to share food and conversation prior to the beginning of evening programming. This is not only a chance to get familiar with YEPP's members and offerings but also a beautiful way to give back to youth! If you are interested, complete this form and/or email us at
